Conor Keane

Conor graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy in 2011. He worked with a variety of sporting teams and high level athletes over the following 2 years in Ireland including the National University of Ireland Galway Senior and Junior Rugby teams and many different GAA teams.
Conor has since furthered his knowledge with a graduate certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from Curtin University in Western Australia in 2015 and has recently been accepted into a postgraduate Masters of Manipulative Therapy at Curtin University which will commence in 2017.
With his strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and sports injuries Conor utilises a variety of manual therapy techniques, dry-needling and exercise prescription to help his patients reach their specific goals and return to sports, work and normal daily living as quickly and safely as possible.
During the last 2 and a half years working as a physiotherapist in Australia, Conor has completed many courses such as the Dean Watson approach to headache, Dr Peter O’Sullivan low back pain model, Sports Integrated Dry Needling with Andrew Hutton, Mulligan treatment concept and osteopathic joint mobilisation and manipulative techniques by world renowned Osteopath Michael Monahan.
Conor’s special interest is in the treatment of lower back pain, spinal injuries, sports injuries and headaches.
In his spare time, Conor enjoys lots of different sports such as soccer and competitive Gaelic football. He is also a very handy golfer and joins the group of enthusiastic runners at SPS.
