Jackson Toigo

Director MPhty MExSpSc BAppSc(ExSpSc) APAM
Area of Expertise: Neck and Head/Jaw Pain, Spine & Pelvis, Shoulder & Hips
Location: Castlereagh Physiotherapy Clinic

Jackson is a dedicated musculoskeletal physiotherapist attributing most of this passion to his personal experiences with injury and keen interest in all sports, in particular soccer, golf and running and swimming.

After graduating school at Waverley College, Jackson completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) at the University of Sydney. His great interest in this field led to his continued post graduate study.

In 2010, Jackson completed his Master of Exercise and Sport Science in which he gained accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with governing body ESSA and began assessing, training and maintaining many semi-professional triathletes and cyclists in the Sydney city area.

Upon completion, Jackson decided to take his knowledge in exercise prescription and continue study at the University of Sydney to complete a Master of Physiotherapy (Distinction) in 2012.

Before joining the team at Sydney Physiotherapy Solutions, Jackson has had extensive experience assessing, diagnosing and treating sports and work related injuries at a private practice in the Eastern Suburbs, all under the guidance of an experienced Senior Physiotherapist.

Jackson is a McKenzie trained therapist with a holistic approach to treatment. He has a keen interest in continually building manual handling techniques and producing the most effective exercise prescription for each individual.

Jackson has completed further education in Sports Physiotherapy, Advanced Dry Needling and learnt from some of the most reputable pelvis and shoulder physiotherapists of our time.

Jackson spent his younger days beside the beach at Maroubra, and  playing representative soccer in the NSW Super Youth League and State League competitions well after finishing high school. Empathising with injury and surgery have paved the way for further education in sporting physiotherapy and a passion for delivering the optimum treatment pathway to ensure that each individual goal can be achieved effectively.

When Jackson is not working you will most likely see him at the beach, training for his next fitness event or planning another trip overseas.
